Tonight Daddy and I went to the fair!
I got this blue wristband (that Daddy said was too expensive) that allowed me to ride the rides.
I did:
- The Bumblebees
- The Helicopter
- The Train
- The Obstacle Course
- The Big Slide
- The Banana Planes
- The Caterpillars
- The 4x4s
- The Spinning Apples
- The Ferris Wheel
We also played a Duck Game. Well, it wasn’t really much of a game. Daddy gave the girl $2, I picked up a floating duck that had an “S” on the bottom, and then got to pick a small toy. I got a stuffed duck.
Later, we realized we didn’t know where the duck was! We went back and thankfully the girl let Daddy pay her $2 again so I could pick up another duck with an “S” on the bottom and get my duck back. Apparently it had somehow found its way back to this big bucket with all the other small ducks.
A radio station was giving out balloons. I got one and Daddy tied it to my wristband. When we got back to the car, I insisted that he untie it. When we got home, I insisted that I carry it in. After I accidentally let it go outside, I threw a fit, cried, yelled, and insisted that we go back and get another one. (After all, we got my duck back, didn’t we?!)
They said that it’s 9pm and the fair is now closed. And since it was so late, I got to throw a tantrum and have it get blamed on the clock. It’s nice to have a scapegoat for acting like a gremlin.
