Swimming w/ Granddaddy

Today I got to swim with Granddaddy.

I kicked.

Did a little posing…

And oh yeah, I swam too.

And you shoulda seen Granddaddy get all nervous when I insisted on sitting right next to a pretty 20-something-year-old girl in a bikini!

Good thing Mommy wasn’t around then… she thinks I’m still too young to date.

The Fair

Tonight Daddy and I went to the fair!

I got this blue wristband (that Daddy said was too expensive) that allowed me to ride the rides.

I did:

  • The Bumblebees
  • The Helicopter
  • The Train
  • The Obstacle Course
  • The Big Slide
  • The Banana Planes
  • The Caterpillars
  • The 4x4s
  • The Spinning Apples
  • The Ferris Wheel

We also played a Duck Game. Well, it wasn’t really much of a game. Daddy gave the girl $2, I picked up a floating duck that had an “S” on the bottom, and then got to pick a small toy. I got a stuffed duck.

Later, we realized we didn’t know where the duck was! We went back and thankfully the girl let Daddy pay her $2 again so I could pick up another duck with an “S” on the bottom and get my duck back. Apparently it had somehow found its way back to this big bucket with all the other small ducks.

A radio station was giving out balloons. I got one and Daddy tied it to my wristband. When we got back to the car, I insisted that he untie it. When we got home, I insisted that I carry it in. After I accidentally let it go outside, I threw a fit, cried, yelled, and insisted that we go back and get another one. (After all, we got my duck back, didn’t we?!)

They said that it’s 9pm and the fair is now closed. And since it was so late, I got to throw a tantrum and have it get blamed on the clock. It’s nice to have a scapegoat for acting like a gremlin.

I Read 36 Books and All I Got Was This… Certificate

Tonight I went to my first baseball game. I was actually a guest of honor!

A month or two ago, Daddy and Mommy and I read 36 entire books! As a reward, I was invited to this local baseball game to get my certificate.

Unfortunately, I didn’t behave myself and we didn’t even get to watch all of the first inning, whatever that is. And when we left… I threw a fit.

Farm Visit

Today we went to this small farm. They grow some funny purple thing called lavender, but they also had some animals.

First, I fed the bunnies.

Carrot for Bunny

Awwwwww....

Then we fed some goats and horses.

Mmmmmm... Carrots...

After all this, I misbehaved, threw a fit, and then we had to leave.

Highlights from my Third Birthday

Well people, a Gremlin turned three today.

Here’s how it went down.

Nana and Daddy and I all went to the IHOP for breakfast. Not a bad start… until they brought me creepy food.

I wouldn’t eat the stuff. Daddy had to give me his pancakes.

A waitress asked me how old I was. I thought if I stretched the truth a little it might impress her.

It didn’t.

Later, we had a party at my school. Mommy made this delicious (looking) fruit & veggie tray. Daddy destroyed it. Thanks Pop.

Still later, we had a little cake party in the neighborhood. Dad didn’t get a picture of my sweet dino cake until it was half eaten. Strike two.

Overall, I must say it was a good day… I didn’t have to use my… oh, nevermind.

My First Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had an Easter Egg Hunt at School.

My classmates and I had fun.

But somehow, it seemed a little easy… maybe too easy. Who do they think they’re dealing with, a bunch of 2-year-olds?
